Dr. Hailey Mattice - Veterinarian

Dr. Hailey Mattice is originally from Colonie, NY. She grew up in upstate New York’s Capital Region. Her dream has always been to be a veterinarian.

Dr. Mattice graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary and Biomedical Science. During her time at Penn State, she was the President of the Small and Exotic Animal Club.

She completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. While completing her degree at Cornell, she also participated in spay-and-neuter clinics in Thailand and worked with wildlife in Belize. She has a special interest in surgery and exotic animal medicine.

Dr. Mattice shares her home with 3 Sugar Gliders named Nittany, Raider, and Shuggie, a cat named Coffee, a hedgehog named Skywalker, and an iguana named Baudouin. When she is not treating patients, she enjoys traveling abroad, riding roller coasters, and swimming at the beach. She is also a big Star Wars fan! She is very excited to join the Seventy-First Animal Hospital team!
